Academy of Entrepreneurship and Law

The Academy of Entrepreneurship and Law, through the vehicle of interdisciplinary project based learning, will engage our students in thematic projects and activities designed to enhance their knowledge of the legal and business professions. Students will develop multimedia communication skills necessary for writing business and marketing plans essential for managing an entrepreneurial project. They will also participate in projects that will provide insight into the law and our legal system. Through partnerships with various community based organizations, students will demonstrate an appreciation of civic and financial responsibilities that support their development into citizen leaders who think responsibly and critically about the future of their community.

Academy of Urban Planning and Environmental Design

Students in the Academy of Urban Planning and Environmental Design will investigate the layout, architecture, financial systems, and effective resource utilization of major urban American cities. Within a highly structured and comprehensive course of study, students will research the origins of the urban metropolis, including their founders, initial settlements, immigration trends, and evolution into thriving multicultural and financial centers. They will also explore the judicial and educational systems of these cities. Through service learning, creative artistic expression and interdisciplinary thematic study, students will design ideal urban environments that include all pertinent components necessary for metropolitan 21st century living.

Academy of Global, American and Community Connections

Our mission is to help students gain awareness of the interconnectedness between their community, their nation and their world. Students will develop their intellectual, emotional, social and ethical identity by exploring and understanding their roles and responsibilities through a variety of hands-on, interdisciplinary projects that will enhance students’ understanding of the communities of which they are a part.
